Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Karen brings an extensive background in advertising to her career as a real estate agent. A former senior partner of 23 years with J. Walter Thompson''one of the largest advertising agencies in the world'', Karen's role with the company took her throughout the country placing her in Chicago, San Francisco, and ultimately in Coral Gables, Florida, where she opened an office. A top-performing professional in the advertising industry, Karen garnered a number of awards for her work, including Top of the Dial award in 1997 by the Northern California Broadcasters , and recognition as the founder and first president of Bay Area STAR in San Francisco.

A Realtor since 2002, Karen worked with Five Star Realty of Charlotte County in Punta Gorda before joining Michael Saunders & Company. Through her distinct style and strong focus on customer care, she has continually been acknowledged as a multi-million dollar producer and top sales volume in her office in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 YTD.
