Afternoon Social with author Libby Shaefer

The public is cordially invited to come to our September Afternoon Social at the Punta Gorda Civic Association where you will hear our guest speakers tell us about the history, traditions, features and people that have made Punta Gorda such a unique and charming place to call home.

This month, we are pleased to have as our guest speaker Libby Shaefer, author of The Ladies of Punta Gorda.  She will tell us in an entertaining way about some of the women who had a significant impact on the history and development of Punta Gorda.

Thursday, September 24 from 1 PM to 2 PM.  Doors open at 12:30 PM.

This event is a Free event Open to the public.  Bring a friend or neighbor and show them what a great association we have.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, plus a prize of a signed book by Libby.
