Join us for an informative and experiential workshop that focuses on keeping your back strong and safe during your yoga practice and daily life. You don’t need to be currently experiencing back pain to prioritize the well-being of your spine – this workshop will teach you ways to maintain a healthy low back even when you aren’t injured!
TYS teacher Pat Francis will show you techniques and strategies that will help prevent back pain, develop mindful modifications of key yoga postures and explore the effective use of yoga props. You will also explore how your breath can serve as a foundation for a strong and supported lower spine. While we will explore the entire spine, there will be a particular emphasis on the low back. You’ll leave with practical tools, including a short practice, that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine to maintain a strong and supported spine. Open to all levels, no experience necessary.
