Join us for a fun-filled session of floral arranging at the Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this in-person event is perfect for all skill levels. Immerse yourself in the art of floral arrangements as you create three gorgeous pieces in an English Garden style! Our experienced instructor Kim, owner of The Valley Florist Downtown, will be there to guide you every step of the way. We will supply all of the flowers and botanicals that you will need to craft the perfect arrangement! You will leave the lesson with over $200 retail value of floral arrangements!
What to bring:
??One of the three arrangements will be a keepsake bouquet. Bring your favorite old pitcher, watering can, or Grandma's Crystal Vase-We will supply the rest! You can find lots of whimsical antique containers at your local thrift shop!
?? Bring your favorite clippers, scissors, or knife for cutting botanicals
?? Bring a tote, bag or box to bring your lovely arrangements home safely!

Meet your Florist!
 
Kim Wertz-DuCette is the owner of the Valley Florist Downtown, serving the communities of De Soto County and the surrounding areas for 26 years. With decades of experience in wedding and event decorating, including facilitating as lead florist on several floats in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Kim's passion for floral design runs deep.   She finds much joy in sharing her passion for beautiful flower arrangements with others! The Valley Florist Downtown was recently named "The DeSoto Choice award" and has been voted " Best of DeSoto " multiple times. You can find her family run shop located at 7 East Oak St. in Arcadia Florida.
