About Us

Thunderbolt Networks is a licensed electrical contractor and technology services provider based in Punta Gorda. We do the work that keeps Charlotte County businesses, schools, and organizations running: commercial electrical, security cameras, access control, fire alarms, network infrastructure, managed IT, and VoIP phone systems.
Most of our projects touch more than one of those areas. A school might need parking lot lighting, security cameras, and network drops in the same building. A business might need a panel upgrade and a new Wi-Fi network. That's why we do it all in-house rather than subcontracting pieces out. One point of contact, one team that understands how all the systems tie together.
We hold Florida electrical contractor license EC13012737 and carry certifications including GROL, R56, and manufacturer credentials from Axis Communications and Avtec. We're also partnered with Aruba Networks, HPE, Ubiquiti, Digital Watchdog, and RingCentral. We have a bucket truck on hand for exterior and overhead work like pole lighting, building-mounted cameras, and elevated fixtures.
Right now we're the contracted electrical services provider for Charlotte County Public Schools, handling everything from Hurricane Ian recovery work to LED lighting upgrades across district campuses.
We're based in Punta Gorda and offer same-day emergency response in Charlotte County, with next-day service to Port Charlotte, North Port, Englewood, and Fort Myers. For larger projects, we travel throughout Florida.
