Glass Duchess Studio

Janie works in many glass media and styles, including the unique Pâte de Verre, a French approach to glass making that allows for subtle gradations of color possible with no other glass working technique.  Her results are both fragile and delicate to the eye.

The Port Charlotte, FL glass studio is a working mecca for Janie and other artists in residence. It is open to the public by appointment. Along with fine art glass, Janie blends other media into her pieces: welding, using a glass lathe and wet saw to create her pieces.

Her work is internationally known.  Pieces have been purchased throughout the United States, Canada, and even as far away as the Czech Republic.
