Event Description:
In a first-ever project, TEAM Punta Gorda has joined Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a low-income family in Punta Gorda.
Up to 20 volunteers from the community will be needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 13 through May 10. Work hours are 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. No experience or particular skills are necessary. Training will be provided on site. The site is at 4824 S. Fairway Drive, Punta Gorda 33982.

Charlotte County has a great need for affordable housing, said Mike Mansfield, Habitat CEO. Habitat builds 40 new homes each year in Charlotte County. TEAM and Habitat join forces annually to paint houses of the elderly, low-income families, veterans and the disabled.
